3-day Course | Tuesday 21st – Thursday 23rd October, 2025 | 9:00 – 17:00 | Price £525 | 12 places

This immersive three-day course with Rachael South guides you through the specialist craftsmanship required to create a traditionally stuffed and stitched footstool. Starting from the bare frame, you will:

  1. Prepare and finish wooden legs and frame
  2. Hand-stuff and stitch the upholstered pad
  3. Select and apply your own fabric design

All tools, frames, and materials are supplied. Whether you’re new to upholstery or refining your skills, this foundational project offers hands-on learning in a supportive, studio-based setting—rooted in heritage craft and adaptable for today’s design contexts.
